Accuracy is central to the work we do at Atlanta Arts Scene. This policy describes how readers can report errors and how we handle corrections.
1. Tell Us About an Error
Noticed a factual mistake in something we published? We want to hear about it. Use our Contact page and include:
The title or link of the article; The specific statement you believe is inaccurate; The correct information, and a source if you have one.
2. Our Correction Process
We review every correction request promptly. If we confirm an error, we fix it as soon as possible. Significant corrections are noted on the article so readers can see what was changed and when.
3. How We Label Changes
We use a few different labels depending on the nature of the change:
Correction — used when we publish something factually inaccurate; Clarification — used when content is accurate but could be misunderstood; Update — used when we add new information to a developing story.
4. Being Open About Changes
We do not quietly delete content to hide mistakes. Where a correction materially changes the meaning of an article, we are transparent that a change was made. Minor typo fixes may be made without a formal note.
5. Questions
Correction requests and questions about this policy can be sent through our Contact page.
